# Are there any charges associated with leaving my carrier?

## Early termination fees vary from carrier to carrier and can depend on many factors. If you’re still paying off your device, you would likely also be responsible for paying off any remaining payment on the device.

Typically, if the device is paid off and you’re not under any contract with your current carrier, there won’t be any fees associated with leaving. Please contact your current carrier's customer service team to learn more.
